The theory test is a compulsory test you need to do before you can apply for your practical test this consists of 50 questions from sep 2007 and 14 hazard perception clips.

The questions cover a wide selection of the highway code basic first aid on the road and general rules of the road. with the ldc system we can help with this with work books and dvds ,pc cd roms available to buy or rent from me.

The hazard perception test is a series of clips showing general hazards that could happen whilst you are driving on the road they work on a scoring system and a time frame as soon as you spot the hazard click the mouse to register that you have spotted it this scores you between 5 and 1 you need to average 4 per clip to get a pass.

One clip has two hazards instead of one again you will have to average at least 4 per hazard to get  a pass , If you pass the question test but are unlucky with the hazard you will have to resit the whole test again.

The cost of the test is £30.00 and last approx 1 hour remember you have to pass both sections of the test.

It works on a computer simulation so you dont need any pens , you will need to take your provisional driving licience and your booking letter with you , you are not allowed any mobile phones or personal belongings in the testing room but lockers are available.
